WOW! What a great way to end a holiday weekend. We had a fantstic time at King's Island The day went absolutely perfectly. First of all, we both got in for the price of one ticket thanks to a special labor day promotion. It threatened rain all day, gloomy and overcast, which kept the crowds very thin. We never waited more than 20 minutes for a ride. We rode the Beast...Twice! We rode the Racers...Twice! We did everything we set out to do that day and had a fantastic time. Only when we had decided to leave and we were getting off our last ride did it decide to pour, and pour it did. The skies opened up on us as we made our way t our car, and we were drenched in the process, but we got to the car, laughing, and smiling, and all wet, and loving every minute.
To top it off, we took a long drive to Staz's mom to pick up our beast. Apparently she was no trouble, always good to hear. And a free dog-sitting to boot made me happy as well.
